Steam jacketed simplex strainers help keep the process fluid at the desired temperature and the Eaton model 72SJ can handle up to 100 PSI of steam pressure. The model 72SJ is offered in for 1" to 8" size pipelines as listed below; we can custom fabricate larger size steam jacketed basket strainers for pipelines up to 60".
The strainer baskets are typically perforated or mesh lined baskets and made of 316SS or monel. The part numbers in the table below refer to the strainer body only.

You can calculate the approximate clean differential pressure drop by selecting the strainer connection size, inputting your flow rate (GPM), inputting the specific gravity if other than water (sg of water = 1) and select the viscosity range if other than water (SSU of water = 30). Click "Update" to refresh the data and be sure that the clean differential is ≤2 PSI for the intended basket retention.
Steam jacketed simplex strainers usually ship within 4 weeks after receipt of an order. If lead time is critical please contact us and we'll confirm the lead time required.
We also offer steam jackets for valves, used for isolation, draining and venting steam jacketed strainers. Bolt, clamp and welded designs are described online at https://factory-direct-valves.com/flotite/ball-valve-steam-jacket.html.
