Model BS95-AB aluminum bronze simplex basket strainers satisfy lead-free criteria for potable water systems and are frequently specified for seawater or corrosive marine environments. They have ANSI Class 150# flanged connections and are available in 2" to 12" sizes. The bolted cover requires tools for basket access.
Both brands offer very similar flow coefficient (Cv) values. Decisions are therefore typically driven by cost and lead time.
Cv values for the 2" to 10" sizes are close enough that the two designs will perform essentially the same; ergonomics, cost and lead time become the deciding factors. At the 12" size the Keckley design shows a performance advantage.
