Although Eaton was founded in 1911, their industrial filtration division was established in 2005 with the acquisition of Hayward Filtration Division.  During subsequent years additional filtration equipment manufacturers were acquired including Ronningen-Petter, Internormen Technology Group and Begerow GmbH.  Prior to being acquired by Eaton, Hayward had purchased several industrial filtration companies such as GAF Filter Systems, Loeffler Filter Technic and Wright-Austin.

 

Most of these manufacturers had specific, patented designs and decades of application experience.  Eaton has since streamlined their product offering, eliminating duplicate products lines, enhancing existing designs to be current with the latest manufacturing technologies as well as inventing new products to increase their product breadth.

 

This has been a little confusing as it required consolidation of representative and distribution networks as well as consolidation of engineering and manufacturing resources.  The end result is a company that can provide a filtration product for practically any application you can think of, whether its an industrial process, food/beverage/pharmaceutical, hydraulic and be it liquids or gasses, Eaton likely has something to offer.

Our company was established to assist Hayward with Internet based inquires in 2001 and we still work with Hayward's non-alloy filtration and valve products, but we've been with Eaton since 2005, participating in their training programs, visiting with the nearby corporate headquarters and their North American manufacturing plant in Reynosa Mexico.
