Hayward PVDF Y strainers are injection-molded and available in ½" to 1" sizes with threaded or socket connections. Threaded options include FNPT and BSPT. Socket connections are suitable for ISP Schedule 40/80 or SDR21/33 piping.

These strainers are made from natural PVDF conforming to ASTM D3222 Type 1, making them suitable for ultra-pure fluids and aggressive service. The non-shock pressure rating is 150 PSIG at 70°F.

PVDF Y strainers operate correctly in the horizontal position and vertically when the liquid flow path is downward. An FPM o-ring seals the screen chamber, and a hex cap allows easy removal.

The standard PVDF screen has 3/32" perforations. A 1/16" perforated screen may be substituted at no extra charge. Stainless steel mesh-lined options are available in 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mesh. Screens are the same material as the strainer body.
